Gdańsk Zaspa railway station
Gdańsk Zaspa is an SKM stop in Gdańsk, Poland. It is the fifth stop of this urban train line. This stop is not connected with any railway station.
==History==
Previous name of this stop is ''Gdańsk Lotnisko'' (en: ''Airport'') from once existing nearby airport. After liquidating the airport a big living quarter was built on this place, so the purpose of this stop changed from transporting passengers into main connection with other parts of the Tricity for the quarter residents.
The stop played significant role during the Pope John Paul II pilgrimage to Gdańsk in 1987. The pope celebrated mass in Zaspa quarter, nearby the stop, so most of almost a million of citizens reached the spot via SKM service.
